Feethams House provides new office space for Darlington
31 May 2020
A major new office development within Darlington has been successfully delivered by Napper Architects on time and within budget. The £8.5 million Feethams House, delivered with Willmott Dixon through the Scape Framework, provides 30,000 sq ft office accommodation over five storeys, including a floor-to-ceiling fully glazed top floor providing panoramic views over Darlington.
Jointly funded by Darlington Borough Council, the Tees Valley Combined Authority and ERDF, the development offers high quality Grade A Office accommodation to attract and retain small and medium businesses in the professional services, digital and creative fields within the town centre.
The development completes a trio of Napper projects for Darlington Borough Council as part of the Feethams regeneration, having previously delivered the new DfE headquarters, Bishopsgate House, and a new multi-storey car park both on adjacent sites.
Councillor Heather Scott, leader of Darlington Borough Council, said, “Feethams House is a marvellous example of the ambition we have in Darlington to keep moving our economy forward. It is a new opportunity for businesses in the town who are looking to grow or to welcome new businesses who are drawn here by what we have to offer.”
